Reactor Installed at Salikneta Farm

After being delivered to the Salikneta Farm, the struvite reactor, an enclosed container in which the septage will be processed into struvite fertilizer, has now been installed near the field testing site.

This struvite reactor was designed by researchers from the De La Salle University-Manila, using stainless steel (304), a kind of steel that is resistant to corrosion caused by the liquid content.

The site where it was installed was chosen because it is near the experimental area and where water is also easily available there.
